No. ICWA/Admn/551/10/2023.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 26 of the Indian Council of World Affairs Act, 2001 (29 of 2001), the Council hereby makes the following regulations to amend the Indian Council of World Affairs, Recruitment Regulations, 2017, namely: 1. (1) These regulations may be called the Indian Council of World Affairs, Recruitment (Amendment) Regulations, 2023. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Note 1: The Departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, the deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion. Note 2: The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or other organisation or Department of the Central Government shall not exceed three years).
