G.S.R. 1106 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the All India Service
Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), read with sub-rules (1) and (2) of Rule 4 of Indian Forest Service (Cadre) Rules, 1966, the Central
Government in consultation with the Government of Uttarakhand hereby makes the following regulations further to
amend the Indian Forest Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1966, namely :-6 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)]
1. (i) These regulations shall be called the Indian Forest Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Second
Amendment Regulations, 2016.
(ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Indian Forest Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1966, in the Schedule, for the heading

New Delhi, the 30th November, 2016
G.S.R. 1107 (E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the All India Services
Act, 1951 (61 of 1951) the Central Government in consultation with the Government of Uttarakhand hereby makes the
following rules further to amend the Indian Forest Service (Pay) Rules, 2016 namely:-
1. (i) These rules shall be called the Indian Forest Service (Pay) Amendment Rules, 2016.
(ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Indian Forest Service (Pay) Rules, 2016:-
(a) In Schedule II- A Posts carrying pay above the Time Scale in the Indian Forest Service under the State
