New Delhi, the 30th December, 2015
G.S.R. 1023(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the All India Services
Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), read with sub-rule (2) of rule 4 of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, the
Central Government, in consultation with the Government of Uttarakhand, hereby makes the following regulations
further to amend the Indian Administrative Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1955, namely:-
1. (i) These Regulations may be called the Indian Administrative Service (Fixation of cadre Strength)
fifth Amendment Regulations, 2015.
(ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the schedule to the Indian Administrative Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1955, for the
heading “Uttarakhand” and the entries occurring there under, the following shall be substituted namely:-

G.S.R. 1024 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the All
India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), the Central Government, in consultation with the Government of
Uttarakhand hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Administrative Service (Pay)
Rules, 2007, namely: —
1. (i) These rules may be called the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Fifth Amendment Rules, 2015.
(ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official Gazette.
2. In the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Rules, 2007:-
In “Schedule II-Part A” posts carrying pay above the senior scale of pay of the Indian Administrative
