NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 10th February, 2014
S.O. 470 (E).—Whereas, it appears to the Central Government that it is necessary in the public interest that
for the transportation of Natural Gas from Mehsana to Bhatinda (Jaipur-Bhiwari Section) a pipeline should be laid in
State of Rajasthan by GSPL INDIA GASNET LIMITED (GIGL).
And whereas, it appears to the Central Government that for the purpose of laying such pipeline, it is
necessary to acquire the right of user in land under which the said pipeline is proposed to be laid and which is described
in he Schedule annexed hereto;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Petroleum and
Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962), the Central Government hereby
declares its intention to acquire the right of user therein;
Any person interested in the land described in the said schedule may, within twenty-one days from the date
on which copies of the Gazette of India containing this notification are made available to the public, object in writing to
the acquisition of the right of user therein for laying of the pipeline under the land to Shri Shivdatta Gaud, Competent
Authority, Mehsana-Bhatinda Natural Gas Pipeline Network, GSPL INDIA GASNET LIMITED (GIGL), 16 Krishna
Vihar, Near Narayan Niwas, Gopalpura Bye-pass road, Jaipur (Rajasthan) Pin-302015.

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 10th February, 2014
S.O. 471 (E).—Whereas by a notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural
Gas S.O. No. 2675(E) dated the 2nd September, 2013, issued under sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Petroleum and
Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962), (hereinafter referred to as the said
Act), published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette of India dated the 5th September, 2013, the Central Government declared
its intention to acquire the right of user in the land specified in the Schedule appended to that notification for the purpose
of laying pipeline in State of Rajasthan for transportation of Natural Gas from Mehsana to Bhatinda (JAIPUR-
BHIWARI SECTION) by GSPL INDIA GASNET LIMITED (GIGL);
And whereas copies of the said Extra Ordinary Gazette notification were made available to the public up to
24.10.2013;
And whereas the competent authority has under sub-section (1) of section 6 of the said Act submitted report to
the Central Government;
And whereas the Central Government, after considering the said report and on being satisfied that the said land
is required for laying the pipeline, has decided to acquire right of user therein;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 6 of the said Act, the Central
Government hereby declares that the right of user in the land specified in the Schedule appended to this notification is
hereby acquired for laying the pipeline;
And further, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of section 6 of the said Act, the Central
Government hereby directs that the right of user in the said land for laying the pipeline shall, instead of vesting in the
Central Government, vest on the date of publication of the declaration, in GSPL INDIA GASNET LIMTED (GIGL),
free from all encumbrances.
GSPL INDIA GASNET LIMITED (GIGL) shall be exclusively liable for any compensation in terms of Section
10 of the P&MP Act, 1962 and no suit, claim or legal proceeding would lie against the Central Government on any
matter relating to the pipeline.
