* Highway starting from its junction with NH548C near Mantha connecting Deogoan Fata, Selu, Pathari, Sonpeth, Parali Vaijnath, Ambajogai, Renapurphata, Latur NH361, Ausa, Omarga, Yenegur, Murum, Alur, Akkalkot, Nagasur in the state of Maharashtra connecting Bijapur Vijayapura, Tikota, Athani, Kagwad, Chikhodi, Sankeshwar and terminating at its junction with NH48 near Gotur in the state of Karnataka, is now listed as National Highway 548B.

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 23rd March, 2018
S.O. 1357(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 2 of the National
Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby declares each of the highways specified in
columns (2) and (3) of the Table below to be a national highway.
The said highways, now declared to be national highways, shall be deemed to be specified in the
Schedule to the said Act with the new serial numbers, the new national highways numbers and the description of
the national highways thereof, as indicated in columns (1), (2) and (3) respectively, of the said Table.

Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub Section (ii) vide number S.O. 689(E) dated the
4th April, 2011, namely:-
