NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 24th August, 2018
G.S.R. 809(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (2) of section 3 of the Recovery of Debts
Due to Banks and Financial Institutions Act, 1993 (51 of 1993), the Central Government hereby makes the following
amendments in the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs notification number
G.S.R. 15(E), dated the 9th January, 2007, namely :-
In the said notification, in the Table, in the third column, under the column heading ”Area of Jurisdiction”,-
(1) against serial number 2 relating to Debts Recovery Tribunal-I, Chennai, for the entries, the following entries
shall be substituted, namely :-
“Egmore-Nungambakkam Taluk in the district of Chennai and districts of Villupuram, Thanjavur, Cuddalore,
Vellore and Pudukottai in the State of Tamil Nadu.”;
(2) against serial number 3 relating to Debts Recovery Tribunal-II, Chennai, for the entries, the following entries
shall be substituted, namely :-
“Mylapore-Triplicane, Mambalam-Guindy, and Fort-Tondiarpet Taluks in the district of Chennai and districts of
Thiruvanamalai and Krishnagiri in the State of Tamil Nadu.”;
(3) against serial number 4 relating to Debts Recovery Tribunal-III, Chennai, for the entries, the following entries
