NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 16th March, 2016
S.O. 1173(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 38L of the Wild Life
(Protection) Act, 1972 (53 of 1972), the Central Government hereby appoints the following member to the National
Tiger Conservation Authority for a period specified against their name with effect from the date of publication of this
notification in the Official Gazette and for that purpose makes the following further amendments in the notification of the
Government of India in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change vide number S.O. 1403(E), dated the
4th September, 2006, namely:—
In the said notification, for serial number, 5 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall
be substituted namely:—
“5. Shri P. Bhattacharya, - Member
Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) (He shall hold office till he ceases to be a
Member of Rajya Sabha, i.e. up to
18.8.2017).”.
