NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 3rd January, 2020
S.O. 77(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 5 of the Food
Corporations Act, 1964(37 of 1964), and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India,
in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, number S.O. 1103(E), dated the
2nd May, 2008, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3, sub-section(ii), dated
the 7th May, 2008, the Central Government hereby increases the authorised capital of the Food
Corporation of India from rupees three thousand five hundred crores to rupees ten thousand crores.
