Godavarman Thirumulpad Versus Union of India and Others for the purpose to regulate the movement of timber from North Eastern States to other parts of the country, namely:- S. No. Name Designation 1 Additional Director General of Forests (FC), Ministry of Chairman Environment, Forest and Climate Change, New Delhi 2 Inspector General of Forests (EAP), Ministry of Environment, Forest Member and Climate Change, New Delhi 3 Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and HoFF, Manipur Member 4 Deputy Inspector General of Forests (SU), Ministry of Environment, Member Secretary Forest and Climate Change, New Delhi 2. The terms of reference of the Committee are as under:- (i)(cid:32) Allotment of wagons for movement of surplus timber from North Eastern part of the country to other parts of the country. (ii)(cid:32) Addition or deletion of railway station for loading of timber in North Eastern States. (iii)(cid:32) Any other issue related to movement of timber from North Eastern States. 3. The committee may also invite the PCCF & HOFF of the State intending to send the timber outside the North Eastern States to other parts of the country in the regulatory committee meeting, in case there is an agenda pertaining to their State. 4.
