New Delhi, the 19th July, 2019.
S.O. 2601(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Environment
(Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986) and in pursuance of the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile
Ministry of Environment and Forests, number S.O. 1533(E), dated the 14th September, 2006 (hereinafter referred to as
the said notification), the Central Government hereby constitutes the State Level Environment Impact Assessment
Authority, Mizoram (hereinafter referred to as the Authority, Mizoram) comprising of the following Members, namely: -
1. Shri Liandawla, -Chairman;

2. The Chairman and Members of the Authority, Mizoram shall hold office for a term of three years from the date
of publication of this Order in the Official Gazette.
3. The Authority, Mizoram shall exercise such powers and follow such procedures as specified in the said
notification.
4. The Authority, Mizoram shall take its decision on the recommendations of the State Level Expert Appraisal
Committee (SEAC), constituted under paragraph 5 for the State of Mizoram.
5. For the purpose of assisting the Authority, Mizoram, the Central Government in consultation with the State
Government of Mizoram, hereby constitutes the State Level Expert Appraisal Committee (SEAC) (hereinafter referred
to as SEAC, Mizoram) comprising of the following Members, namely:—

7. The SEAC, Mizoram shall exercise such powers and follow such procedures as specified in the said notification.
8. The SEAC, Mizoram shall function on the principle of collective responsibility and the Chairman shall endeavor

9. The Government of Mizoram shall notify an agency to act as Secretariat for the Authority, Mizoram and SEAC,
Mizoram and the Secretariat shall provide all financial and logistic support including accommodation, transportation and
such other facilities in respect of all their statutory functions.
10. The sitting fee, travelling allowances and dearness allowances to the Chairman and Members of the Authority,
Mizoram and SEAC, Mizoram shall be paid as per the rules of the State Government of Mizoram.
