NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th September, 2019
S.O. 3359(E).––In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 4 of the Tea Act, 1953 (29 of
1953) read with rules 4 and 5 of the Tea Rules, 1954, the Central Government hereby appoints the following persons as
members of the Tea Board with effect from the date of publication of this notification upto the 10th day of February,
2022, and for that purpose makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the
erstwhile Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Tea Control) number S.R.O. 944, dated the 17th March, 1954, namely: —
In the said notification, for serial numbers 8 and 9 and entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and
entries shall respectively be substituted, namely: —
“8. Shri Horen Singh Bey, Member representing Parliament under clause(b) of
Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha sub-rule (1) of rule 4.
9. Shri Raju Bista, Member representing Parliament under clause(b) of
Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha sub-rule (1) of rule 4”.
