(1) These regulations may be called the Science and Engineering Research Board (Recruitment, Salaries and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ Posts Administrative and Non-Technical) (Amendment) Regulations, 2020. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Schedule-II to the Science and Engineering Research Board (Recruitment, Salaries and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ Posts Administrative and Non- Technical) Regulations, 2014,- (I) against the post of Director at serial number 1, - (a) in column (4), for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column heading and entries shall be substituted, namely:— “ Level in pay matrix (4) Level-13 in the pay matrix (Rs. 123100-215900)”; (b) in column (11), for the entry “pay band -3, Rs.15600-39,100 with grade pay of Rs.7600”, the entry “Level-12 in the pay matrix (Rs.78800- 209200)” shall be substituted;4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART III—SEC. 4] (II) against the post of Under Secretary at serial number 2,— (a) in column (4), for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column heading and entries shall be substituted, namely:— “ Level in pay matrix (4) Level-11 in the pay matrix (Rs.67700-208700)”; (b) in column (11), - (I) under sub heading “Promotion”, - for the words, figures and letters “pay band -2, Rs.9300- 34,800 with grade pay of Rs.4200”, the words “Level-6 in the pay matrix (Rs.35400-112400)” shall be substituted, and (II) under sub heading “Deputation”, - (i) for the words, figures and letters “pay band-3, Rs.15600-39,100 with grade pay of Rs.5400”, the words “Level 10 in the pay matrix (Rs.56100- 177500)”; shall be substituted, (ii) for the words, figures and letters “pay band-2 Rs.9300-34,800 with grade pay of Rs.4800”, the words “Level 8 in the pay matrix (Rs.47600- 151100); shall be substituted, (iii) for the words, figures and letters “pay band - 2 Rs.9300-34,800 with grade pay of Rs.4600”, the words “Level 7 in the pay matrix (Rs.44900- 142400); shall be substituted, (iv) for the words, figures and letters “pay band -2 Rs.9300-34,800 with grade pay of Rs.4200”, the words “Level-6 in the pay matrix (Rs.35400- 112400) shall be substituted; (III) against the post of Section Officer at serial number 3, - (a) in column (4) for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column heading and entries shall be substituted, namely:— “ Level in pay matrix (4) Level-6 in the pay matrix (Rs.35400-112400)”; (b) in columns (6), (7), (9) and (10) the entries relating thereto, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:— (6) (7) (9) (10) Not exceeding thirty years.
