NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd January, 2020
S.O. 295(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (6) of section 41 of the Motor
Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in
the notification of Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Surface Transport number S.O.444(E),
dated the 12th June, 1989, namely:—
1. In the said notification, in the TABLE for serial numbers 6A, 7 and 8 and the entries relating
thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall be substituted, namely:—
―7. Chhattisgarh CG
8. Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu DD‖.
2. This notification shall come into force from 26th January, 2020.
