NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th September, 2018
G.S.R. 890(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 13 of the Administrative
Tribunals Act, 1985 (13 of 1985), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central
Administrative Tribunal Stenographers Service (Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ Posts) Recruitment Rules, 1989, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Central Administrative Tribunal Stenographers Service
(Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ Posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Central Administrative Tribunal Stenographers Service (Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ Posts) Recruitment Rules, 1989, in the
Schedule, -
(i) in column (7) of the Table relating to the post of Court Master (Stenographers Grade ‘C’), for the words and figures
“40 words per minute in typewriting (English) and 55 mts (Hindi)”, the words and figures “40 mts (English) (on
computer)” shall be substituted;
(ii) in column (7) of the Table relating to the post of Stenographers Grade ‘D’, for the words and figures “65 mts.
(English) 75 mts. (Hindi) (on manual typewriter) or 50 mts. (English) and 65 mts. (Hindi) (on computer)”, the
words and figures “50 mts. (English) (on computer)” shall be substituted;
(iii) in column (6) of the Table relating to the post of Court Master (Stenographers Grade ‘C’), for the words and figures
“18 to 27 years”, the words and figures “18 to 30 years” shall be substituted.
