NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 25th February, 2020
F. No. AICTE/P&AP/ODL/2020.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of
Section 23 read with Section 10 (b) (g) (i) (j) (m) (n) and (o) of All India Council for Technical Education Act,
1987, the AICTE hereby makes the following guidelines further to amend the AICTE (Open and Distance
Learning Education) Guidelines for Institutions- Deemed to be Universities, 2019, namely:-
1. a) These guidelines may be called the All India Council for Technical Education (Open and
Distance Learning Education) Guidelines for Institutions-Deemed to be Universities, 2020.

2. In the All India Council for Technical Education (Open and Distance Learning Education) Guidelines,
2019 (herein after referred to as the said guidelines), the following amendments have been
incorporated in clause 3.1, Annexure IX respectively of the Guidelines and inserted new Clause 3.1.8
in the Guidelines as per the table given and shall be read accordingly.
Amendment in the Clauses of AICTE Guidelines, 2019:
