सा.का.जन. 780(अ).—भारतीय पुजलस सेिा (संिगग) जनयमािली, 1954 के जनयम 4 के उप-जनयम (1) तथा (2)
के साथ पठित अजखल भारतीय सेिाएं अजधजनयम, 1951 (1951 का 61) की धारा 3 की उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त
िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द र सरकार, मजणपरु सरकार के परामिग से भारतीय पुजलस सेिा (संिगग पद संख् या का
जनयतन) जिजनयमािली, 1955 में आग ेऔर संिोधन करन े के जलए एतदद्वारा जनम्न जलजखत जिजनयम बनाती ै, अथागत:्-
1. (1) इन जिजनयमों को भारतीय पुजलस सेिा (संिग ग पद संख् या का जनयतन) चतथु ग संिोधन जिजनयमािली, 2018 कैा
जाएगा।
(2) ये जिजनयम सरकारी राजपत्र म ेंउनके प्रकािन की तारीख से प्रिृत् त ैोंगे।

G.S.R. 780(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the All
India Services Act, 1951 (LXI of 1951) read with sub-rule (1) and (2) of Rule 4 of the Indian Police
Service (Cadre) Rules,1954, the Central Government, in consultation with the Government of Manipur,
hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Indian Police Service (Fixation of Cadre
Strength )Regulations ,1955 namely:-4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)]
1. (1) These Regulations may be called the Indian Police Service (Fixation of cadre Strength)
Fourth Amendment Regulations, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Indian Police Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1955, in the Schedule, for
the heading “Manipur‖ and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted namely:─
