NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 14th March, 2016
S.O. 1082(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3A of National
Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to be the said Act), the Central Government, after
being satisfied that for the public purpose the lands, the brief description of which are given in the Schedule
below, are required for building (widening/two laning with paved shoulders etc.) maintenance, management
and operation of National Highway No. 565 in the stretch between Km 143.00 to 304.00 in District
Prakasham in the State of Andhra Pradesh, hereby declares its intention to acquire such lands.
Any person interested in the said land, may, within twenty one days from the date of publication of
this notification, raise objection to the use of the land for the aforesaid purpose under sub-section (1) of
section 3C of the said Act.
Every such objection shall be made to the Competent Authority, namely, the Additional Joint
Collector, Prakasham District, Ongole, in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof and the Competent
Authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by a legal practitioner and
may, after hearing of such objection and after making such further inquiry, if any, as the Competent Authority
thinks necessary, by order either allow or disallow the objections.
Any order made by the Competent Authority under sub-section (2) of the section 3C of the said Act
shall be final;
The land plans and other details of lands covered under this notification are available and can be

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 14th March, 2016
S.O. 1083(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road
Transport and Highways number S.O.1179(E), dated:05.05.2015, and S.O.2036(E), dated:22.07.2015 and
S.O. 2969(E), dated:30.10.2015 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section-3, Sub-section (ii)6 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)]
issued under sub–section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter
referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the
Schedule annexed to the said notification for building (widening/Two lane with paved shoulders, etc.,),
maintenance, management and operation of National Highway No.565 in the stretch of land from Km.143/000
to Km 304/000 in the District Prakasham in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
And whereas the substance of the said notifications has been published in “The Hindu” English daily
on 29.06.2015, and “Sakshi” Telugu daily on 28.06.2015, “The Hindu” English daily dated:16.08.2015, the
“Andhra Jyothi” Telugu daily on 16.08.2015, “The Hans India” English daily on 10.11.2015 and “Andhra
Jyothi” Telugu daily on 11.11.2015, under sub- section (3) of section 3A of the said Act;
And whereas the received objections have been considered and disallowed by the Competent
Authority.
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority
has submitted its report to the Central Government;
Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the
powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government here by declares
that the land specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;
And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government
here by declared that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said
Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.

Brief description of the land to be acquired, with or without structure, falling within the stretch of land in
from km. 143.000 to km. 304.000 on the National Highway No. 565 in the Prakasham District in the State of
Andhra Pradesh.
