NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 19th June, 2019
S.O. 1982(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Bureau of
Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016) read with rule 6 of Bureau of Indian Standards Rules, 2018, the
Central Government hereby makes following amendment in the Bureau of Indian Standards notification
number S.O. 219 (E) dated 12th January, 2018, with effect from the date of publication of this notification,
namely:—
2. In the said notification,
(i) for serial number (2) and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:
“(2) Special Secretary or Additional Secretary to the Government of India, Department of
Consumer Affairs, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi - Member
(ii) After serial number (3) and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be included, namely:
“(3a) Joint Secretary to the Government of India, Department of Consumer Affairs, Krishi
Bhawan, New Delhi – Member”
