“Small Industries Development Bank of India
(Payment of Gratuity to Employees) [Amendment] Regulations, 2017”
HRV No. L00136691/Staff.Gen. (2).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of
Section 52 of the Small Industries Development Bank of India Act, 1989 (39 of 1989), the Board of Directors
of the Small Industries Development Bank of India hereby makes the following amendments to the Small
Industries Development Bank of India (Payment of Gratuity to Employees) Regulations, 2002 (hereinafter
referred to as Principal Regulations), namely :—
1.(cid:32) These Regulations may be called the Small Industries Development Bank of India (Payment of Gratuity to
Employees) [Amendment] Regulations, 2017.
2.(cid:32) These Amendments shall come into force with effect from January 01, 2016.
3.(cid:32) In Clause (a) of sub-Regulation (1) of Regulation 6 of the Principal Regulations for the figure
"Rs. 9,00,000/-", the figure "` 18,00,000/-" shall be substituted.
4.(cid:32) In Regulation 9 of the Principal Regulations the proviso shall stand deleted.
