New Delhi, the 31st January, 2017
S.O. 308(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Environment
(Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986) and in pursuance of paragraph 3 of the notification of the Government of
India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests, number S.O 1533(E), dated the 14th September,
2006, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government
of India in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change published in the Gazette of India, Part II,
Section 3, Sub-section (ii)vide number S.O. 1101(E), dated the 27th April, 2015, namely:-
2. In the said notification-
(i) in paragraph 1, for the serial number 3 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number
and entries shall be substituted, namely :-
“3 Joint Secretary, Environment, Forests, Science and Member Secretary”
