S.O. 1722(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 58 and sub-
Section 3(a) of Section 110 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, the Central Government hereby
accords approval for the trial run of following 16 G-duck Amphibian Buses of Amphibious Design
India for a period of one year in Goa :

2. The above approval is subject to the following conditions :
(i) Amphibian vehicle(s) to be operated during the day time only.
(ii) The maximum speed of operation of road, to be restricted to 40 kmph.¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(ii)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3
(iii) The amphibian vehicle(s) to display necessary warming triangle both at front and rear
side to indicate that it is a slow moving vehicle.
(iv) All necessary precautionary measures be taken by the operating firm to ensure safety
requirements of both occupant and the other road users and in particular the
pedestrians.
(v) The firm shall submit report of field running of vehicles every six months to the
Ministry.
(vi) The vehicles would ply only on designated points as permitted by the Transport
Authority of the concerned State Government/UT Administration.
