NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 30th August, 2019
S.O. 3172(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 38L of the
Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 (53 of 1972), the Central Government hereby appoints the following
members to the National Tiger Conservation Authority for the period specified against their names with effect
from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette and for that purpose makes the
following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of
Environment and Forests, published vide number S.O. 1403(E), dated the 4th September, 2006, namely:—
In the said notification, for serial numbers 3 and 4 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall
be substituted, namely:-
“3. Ms. Diya Kumari, Member of - Member
Parliament (Lok Sabha) (She shall hold office till 2nd April, 2022 or till she ceases to be a
Member of Lok Sabha, whichever is earlier).
4. Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Member - Member
of Parliament (Lok Sabha) (He shall hold office till 2nd April, 2022 or till he ceases to be a
Member of Lok Sabha, whichever is earlier).”.
