NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 13th January, 2020
S.O. 232(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 38L of the Wild
Life (Protection) Act, 1972 (53 of 1972), the Central Government hereby appoints the following member to the
National Tiger Conservation Authority for a period specified against his name with effect from the date of
publication of this notification in the Official Gazette and for that purpose makes the following further
amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and
Forests, vide number S.O. 1403(E), dated the 4th September, 2006, namely:—
In the said notification, for serial number 5 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be
substituted, namely:-
“5. Shri Harshvardhan Singh - Member
Dungarpur, Member of (He shall hold office up to 30th June, 2022 or till he ceases to be a
Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Member of Rajya Sabha, whichever is earlier).”.
