No. 4-1/2023-CU.II.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (2) and (3) of Section 29 of the Delhi University Act 1922 (VIII of 1922), the Executive Council, with the approval of the Visitor, hereby makes the following amendments further to amend the Delhi University Statutes, 1922, namely:- 1. Short Title and Commencement: (i) These Statutes may be called as the Delhi University (Amendment) Statutes, 2023 (ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Delhi University Statute, 1922, in Statute 11-F(4), following shall be substituted: Existing Amended 11-F (4) The Vice-Chancellor shall hold office for a term of 11-F (4) The Vice-Chancellor shall hold office for a five years and shall not be eligible for re-appointment. term of five years and shall be eligible for re- appointment for another term.
