NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 26th December, 2018
G.S.R. 1232(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the
Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Financial Intelligence
Unit, Ministry of Finance, Private Secretary (Group ‘B’ Post) Recruitment Rules, 2006, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Financial Intelligence Unit, Ministry of Finance, Private
Secretary (Group ‘B’ Post) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the financial Intelligence Unit, Ministry of Finance, Private Secretary (Group ‘B’ Post)
Recruitment Rules, 2006 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), for rule 2, the following rule shall
be substituted, namely :—
“2. Number of post, classification and level in pay matrix.—The number of said post, its
classification and level in the pay matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns 2
to 4 of the Schedule annexed to these rules.”.
3. In the said rules, in the Schedule,—
(a) in column 4, for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following
column heading and entries shall be substituted, namely:—
“Level in pay matrix.

Level-7 (`. 44900-142400).”.
(b) column 6 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted and columns 7 to 14 shall be
renumbered as columns 6 to 13;
(c) in column 12, for the words, letters and figures “the scale of pay of `. 5500-9000 or
equivalent or six years’ combined service in the pay scale of `. 5500-9000 and `. 5000-8000”,
the words, figures, brackets and letters “level 6 (`. 35400 – 112400) in the pay matrix” shall
be substituted.

1. (1) These rules may be called the Financial Intelligence Unit, Ministry of Finance,
Personal Assistant (Group ‘B’ Post) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Financial Intelligence Unit, Ministry of Finance, Personal Assistant (Group ‘B’ Post)
Recruitment Rules, 2006 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), for rule 2, the following rule shall
be substituted, namely:—
“2. Number of post, classification and level in pay matrix.—The number of said post, its
classification and level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns 2 to
4 of the Schedule annexed to these rules.”.
3. In the said rules, in the Schedule,-
(a) in column 4, for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following

(Group ‘C’ Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2011, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Financial Intelligence Unit-India (Group ‘C’ posts),
Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Financial Intelligence Unit-India (Group ‘C’ Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2011 (hereinafter
referred to as the said rules), for rule 2, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:-
“2. Number of posts, classification and level in pay matrix.—The number of said posts, their
classification and level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of
the Schedule annexed to these rules.”.
3. In the said rules, in the Schedule,—

the pay matrix” shall be substituted;
(B) for the words, figures brackets and letters “the pay band-1 (`. 5200-20200) grade
pay of `. 1900”, the words, figures, brackets and letters “level 2 (`.19900 - 63200) in
the pay matrix” shall be substituted;
(b) against serial number 2 relating to the post of Lower Division Clerk,—
(i) in column (4), for the entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:—
Level-2 (`. 19900-63200).”;
(ii) in column (11), for the words, figures, brackets and letters “the pay band-1 (`. 5200-
20200) grade pay of `. 1800”, the words, figures, brackets and letters “level 1 (`. 18000 -
