NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 4th September, 2018
G.S.R. 863(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution,
the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and
Public Distribution, Department of Food and Public Distribution, National Sugar Institute, Kanpur, Research
Assistant (Physical Chemistry) Recruitment Rules, 2017, namely:-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution,
Department of Food and Public Distribution, National Sugar Institute, Kanpur, Research Assistant
(Physical Chemistry) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Department of Food and Public
Distribution National Sugar Institute, Kanpur, Research Assistant (Physical Chemistry) Recruitment Rules, 2017,
in the Schedule,-
(i) in column (6), for the words and figures “ Between 18 and 27 years ”, the words “Not exceeding thirty
years” shall be substituted;
(ii) in column (7), for the words “Chemistry with specialisation in Physical Chemistry”, the words “Physical
Chemistry or Master’s Degree in Chemistry with Physical Chemistry as one of the papers,” shall be
substituted;
