पद) भत(cid:7278) (संशोधन) िनयम, 2017 ह ै।
(2) ये राजप(cid:7074) म(cid:7286) अपने (cid:7079)काशन क(cid:7409) तारीख को (cid:7079)वृ(cid:7004) त ह(cid:7298)गे ।
2. के(cid:7008)(cid:7076)ीय उ(cid:7004)पाद शु(cid:7016)क और सीमा-शु(cid:7016)क िवभाग, काय(cid:6981)कारी सहायक (समूह ‘ख’ अराजपि(cid:7074)त पद) भत(cid:7278) िनयम, 2015 म(cid:7286),—
(क) िनयम 3 के (cid:7021)थान पर िन(cid:7388)िलिखत िनयम रखा जाएगा, अथा(cid:6981)त:—
“3. पद(cid:7298) क(cid:7409) सं(cid:6990)या, वग(cid:7278)करण और वेतन मै(cid:7407)(cid:7069)(cid:6989)स म(cid:7286) (cid:7021)तर:- उ(cid:7334) पद(cid:7298) क(cid:7409) सं(cid:6990)या, उनका वग(cid:7278)करण और
वेतन मै(cid:7407)(cid:7069)(cid:6989)स म(cid:7286) (cid:7021)तर वे ह(cid:7298)गे जो अनुसूची के (cid:7021)तंभ (2) से (cid:7021)तंभ (4) म(cid:7286) िविन(cid:7416)द(cid:7397) ह ै।“;
(ख) अनुसूची म(cid:7286),—
(i) (cid:7021)तंभ (4) म(cid:7286),—
(अ) (cid:7021)त(cid:7013)भ शीष(cid:6981)क के (cid:7021)थान पर िन(cid:7388)िलिखत (cid:7021)त(cid:7013)भ शीष(cid:6981)क रखा जाएगा, अथा(cid:6981)त:—

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 17th February, 2017.
G.S.R. 135(E).–– In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the
President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Central Excise and Customs Department, Executive Assistant
(Group ‘B’, Non-Gazetted posts) Recruitment Rules, 2015, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Central Excise and Customs Department, Executive Assistant (Group ‘B’,
Non-Gazetted posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Central Excise and Customs Department, Executive Assistant (Group ‘B’, Non Gazetted posts)
Recruitment Rules, 2015, —
(a) for rule 3, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:—
“3. Number of posts, classification and Level in Pay Matrix. – The number of said posts, their classification and
Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the said Schedule.”;
(b) in the schedule, —
(i) in column (4), —
(A) for the column heading, the following column heading shall be substituted, namely:-
“Level in the Pay Matrix”;
(B) for the entry, the following entry shall be substituted, namely:—
“Level – 6 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 35,400-1,12,400)”;
(ii) in column (11), under the heading “Promotion”, for the words, figures and brackets “Tax Assistant in the
Pay Band – 1, Rs. 5200-20200 with grade pay of Rs. 2400/-“, the following words and figures shall be
substituted, namely:—
“Tax Assistant in Level – 4 in the Pay Matrix (Rs.25,500-81,100)”.
