1. (1) इन िनयम(cid:7298) का संिक्ष(cid:7385) नाम केन्(cid:7076)ीय उत्पाद शुल्क और सीमाशुल्क िवभाग आशुिलिपक (cid:7088)ेणी – II (समूह ‘ग’ पद) भत(cid:7278)
(संशोधन) िनयम, 2017 है ।
(2) ये राजप(cid:7074) म(cid:7286) अपन े(cid:7079)काशन की तारीख को (cid:7079)वृत् त ह(cid:7298)गे ।
2. केन्(cid:7076)ीय उत्पाद शल्ु क और सीमाशुल्क िवभाग आशुिलिपक (cid:7088)ेणी – II (समूह ‘ग’ पद) भत(cid:7278) िनयम, 2011 म(cid:7286), -
(i) िनयम 2 के स्थान पर िन(cid:7388)िलिखत िनयम रखा जाएगा, अथार्त:-
“2. पद(cid:7298) की संख्या, वग(cid:7278)करण और वेतन मैि(cid:7069)क्स म(cid:7286) स्तर:- उ(cid:7334) पद(cid:7298) की संख्या, उनका वग(cid:7278)करण और वेतन मैि(cid:7069)क्स म(cid:7286) स्तर वे
ह(cid:7298)गे जो इन िनयम(cid:7298) से उपाब(cid:7373) उ(cid:7334) अनुसूची के स्तंभ (2) से स्तभं (4) म(cid:7286) िविन(cid:7416)द(cid:7397) ह ै।”
(ii) िनयम 4 के स्थान पर िन(cid:7388)िलिखत िनयम रखा जाएगा, अथार्त:-
“4. जब तक अन्यथा केन्(cid:7076)ीय उत्पादशुल्क और सीमाशुल्क बोडर् (cid:7367)ारा िनदि(cid:7287)शत न िकया जाए, (cid:7079)त्यके आंचिलक काडर िनयं(cid:7074)ण
(cid:7079)ािधकारी का अपना (cid:7079)थक काडर होगा ।”
(iii) अनुसचू ी के स्तंभ (4) म(cid:7286),-
(क) शीषर्क के स्थान पर “वेतन मैि(cid:7069)क्स म(cid:7286) स्तर” शीषकर् रखा जाएगा, और;
(ख) (cid:7079)िवि(cid:7397) के स्थान पर “वेतन मैि(cid:7069)क्स म(cid:7286) स्तर-4 (25,500-81,100 रु.)” (cid:7079)िवि(cid:7397) रखी जाएंगी।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd March, 2017
G.S.R. 273(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the
President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Central Excise and Customs Department, Stenographer Grade II
(Group ’C’ Post) Recruitment Rules, 2011, namely:-
1. (1) These rules shall be called the Central Excise and Customs Department, Stenographer Grade II (Group ‘C’
Post) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Central Excise and Customs Department, Stenographer Grade-II (Group ’C’ post) Recruitment Rules,
2011,—
(i) for rule 2, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:-
“2. Number of posts, classification, and level in pay matrix. - The number of said posts, their classification and
level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the said Schedule.”.
(ii) for rule 4, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:-
“Each Zonal Cadre Controlling Authority shall have its own separate cadre unless other-wise directed by the
Central Board of Excise and Customs.”.
(iii) in the Schedule, in column (4), -
(a) for the heading, the heading “Level in pay matrix” shall be substituted; and
(b) for the entry, the entry “Level – 4 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 25,500-81,100)” shall be substituted.
