पद) भत(cid:7278) (संशोधन) िनयम, 2017 ह ै ।
(2) य े राजप(cid:7074) म(cid:7286) अपन े (cid:7079)काशन क(cid:7409) तारीख को (cid:7079)वृ(cid:7004) त ह(cid:7298)गे ।

(ख) (cid:7079)िवि(cid:7397) के (cid:7021)थान पर (cid:7079)िवि(cid:7397) “वेतन मै(cid:7407)(cid:7069)(cid:6989)स म (cid:7286)(cid:7021)तर-3 (21,700-69,100 (cid:7271).)” को रखा जाएगा ।

सेवा क(cid:7409) हो, िजसके न होने पर ऐसे िसपाही, िजसने इस (cid:7088)णे ी म(cid:7286) दस वष(cid:7300) क(cid:7409) िनयिमत सेवा क(cid:7409) हो और िजसे अि(cid:7336)
श(cid:7403) को चलाने म (cid:7286) द(cid:6979)ता हािसल हो ।“

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd March, 2017
G.S.R. 276(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the
President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Finance, Central Excise and Customs Department,
Assistant Sub-Inspector (Weapons), Group ‘C’ Posts Recruitment Rules, 2013, namely:-
1. (1) These rules shall be called the Ministry of Finance, Central Excise and Customs Department, Assistant
Sub-Inspector (Weapons), Group ‘C’ Posts Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Ministry of Finance, Central Excise and Customs Department, Assistant Sub-Inspector (Weapons),
Group ‘C’ Posts Recruitment Rules, 2013 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), for rule 2, the following rule shall be
substituted, namely:-
“2. Number of posts, classification and level in pay matrix. – The number of post, its classification and level in
the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule.”.
3. In the said rules, for rule 3, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:-
“Each Zonal Cadre Controlling Authority shall have its own separate cadre unless other-wise directed by the

4. In the said rules, in the Schedule, -
(i) in column (4);
(a) for the heading, the heading “Level in pay matrix” shall be substituted;
(b) for the entry, the entry “Level – 3 in the pay matrix (Rs.21,700-69,100)” shall be substituted;
(ii) in column (11), for the entries against serial number 1 and 2, the following shall be substituted,
namely:- “(1) Head Havaldar in Level–2 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 19,900-63,200) with three years regular service
in the grade who are proficient in handling fire-arms; or
(2) Havaldar in Level – 1 in the Pay Matrix (Rs.18,000-56,900) with six years regular service in the grade
failing which Sepoy with ten years regular service in the grade, who are proficient in handling fire-arms.”.
