1. (i) इन िनयम(cid:7298) का नाम भारतीय खान ब्यूरो, खान मं(cid:7074)ालय (मुख्य खान िनयं(cid:7074)क, खान िनयं(cid:7074)क, क्षे(cid:7074)ीय खान िनयं(cid:7074)क,
उप-खान िनयं(cid:7074)क, विर(cid:7399) सहायक खान िनयं(cid:7074)क, सहायक खान िनयं(cid:7074)क और सहायक खनन इंजीिनयर) समूह ‘क’ और समूह
‘ख’ पद (संशोधन) भत(cid:7278) िनयम, 2017 ह।ै
(ii) ये सरकारी राजप(cid:7074) म(cid:7286) (cid:7079)काशन की तारीख को (cid:7079)वृ(cid:7275) ह(cid:7298)गे ।
2. क्षे(cid:7074)ीय खान िनयं(cid:7074)क के पद के िलए उ(cid:7334) िनयम(cid:7298) म(cid:7286), अनुसूची के कॉलम (7) म(cid:7286), वतर्मान (cid:7079)िवि(cid:7397)य(cid:7298) “(i) इंजीिनय(cid:7411)रंग (cid:7401)ातक
अथवा इंस्टी(cid:7351)ूशन ऑफ इंजीिनयसर् (इंिडया) परीक्षा के भाग (क) और (ख) पास अथवा खनन इंजीिनय(cid:7411)रंग म(cid:7286) इंस्टी(cid:7351)ूशन
ऑफ इंजीिनयसर् का सहब(cid:7373) सदस्य” अथवा

New Delhi, the 24th May, 2017
G.S.R. 505(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the
President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Indian Bureau of Mines, Ministry of Mines (Chief Controller of
Mines, Controller of Mines, Regional Controller of Mines, Deputy Controller of Mines, Senior Assistant Controller of
Mines, Assistant Controller of Mines and Assistant Mining Engineer) Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ Posts Recruitment Rules, 2016,
namely:-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Indian Bureau of Mines, Ministry of Mines (Chief Controller of Mines, Controller of
Mines, Regional Controller of Mines, Deputy Controller of Mines, Senior Assistant Controller of Mines, Assistant
Controller of Mines and Assistant Mining Engineer) Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ Posts (Amendment) Recruitment Rules, 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the said rules, in Schedule, in column (7) for the post of Regional Controller of Mines, the existing entries
“(1) Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology or passed Section (A) and (B) of the Institution of Engineers
(India) examinations or Associate Member of Institution of Engineers in mining engineering” or
(ii) twelve years’ experience in metalliferous (non-coal) category ‘A’ fully mechanised mines or in the Government
department dealing with mines and minerals as Group ‘A’ officer combined experience of both for twelve years;’’
shall be substituted by the word
“ (1) (i) Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology or passed Section (A) and (B) of the Institution of Engineers
(India) examinations or Associate Member of Institution of Engineers in mining engineering”
(ii) twelve years’ experience in metalliferous (non-coal) category ‘A’ fully mechanised mines or in the Government
department dealing with mines and minerals as Group ‘A’ officer combined experience of both for twelve years;”
