सा.का.िन. 279(अ).—रा(cid:7398)पित, संिवधान के अनुच्छेद 309 के परंतुक (cid:7367)ारा (cid:7079)द(cid:7275) शि(cid:7334)य(cid:7298) का (cid:7079)योग करते हुए, मूल
िनयम, 1922 म(cid:7286) और संशोधन करने के िलए एतद्(cid:7367)ारा िन(cid:7388)िलिखत िनयम बनाते ह,(cid:7289) अथार्त्:-
1. (1) इन िनयम(cid:7298) का संिक्ष(cid:7385) नाम मूल (दसू रा संशोधन) िनयम, 2017 ह।ै
(2) ये शासकीय राजप(cid:7074) म(cid:7286) उनके (cid:7079)काशन की तारीख से (cid:7079)वृ(cid:7275) ह(cid:7298)गे।
2. मूल िनयम, 1922 के िनयम 56 म(cid:7286) खण्ड (ख ख) म(cid:7286), िन(cid:7388)िलिखत परंतुक अंतःस्थािपत िकया जाएगा, अथार्त् :-
“परन्तु यह िक िकसी अन्य िनयम म(cid:7286) अंतिव(cid:7397) िकसी बात के होते हुए भी, केन्(cid:7076)ीय स्वास्थ्य सेवा के उप संवगर्
अध्यापन, अध्यापने(cid:7275)र, सावर्जिनक स्वास्थ्य िवशेषज्ञ और सामान्य (cid:7357)ूटी िचिकत्सा अिधकारी, 62 वषर् की आयु (cid:7079)ा(cid:7385)
होने की तारीख तक (cid:7079)शासिनक पद धारण कर(cid:7286)गे और उसके प(cid:7391)ात् उनकी सेवा(cid:7312) को गैर-(cid:7079)शासिनक पद(cid:7298) पर रखा
जाएगा।”

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd March, 2017
G.S.R. 279(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the
President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Fundamental Rules, 1922, namely :-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Fundamental (Second Amendment) Rules, 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Fundamental Rules, 1922, in rule 56, in clause (bb), the following proviso shall be inserted, namely :-
“Provided that notwithstanding anything contained in any other rules, Teaching, Non-Teaching, Public
Health Specialists and General Duty Medical Officer sub-cadres of the Central Health Service shall hold the
administrative posts till the date of attaining the age of 62 years and thereafter their services shall be placed
in Non-Administrative positions.”.
