New Delhi, the 7th September, 2016
G.S.R. 866 (E) .—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the
Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Mines, Indian
Bureau of Mines Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ Posts Recruitment Rules 2015, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Mines, Indian Bureau of Mines, Group ‘A’ and ‘B’
Posts Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2016.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Schedule to the Ministry of Mines, Indian Bureau of Mines, Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ Posts
Recruitment Rules, 2015, relating to the post of Assistant Mineral Economist (Intelligence) in
Column (13), for the exiting entry the following shall be substituted, namely :-
“Consultation with the Union Public Service Commission is necessary.”
