G.S.R. 712(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the
President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Central Excise and Customs Department, Havaldar and Head
Havaldar (Group ’C’ posts) Recruitment Rules, 2015, namely:-
1. (1) These rules shall be called the Central Indirect Taxes and Customs Department, Havaldar and Head
Havaldar (Group ‘C’ posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Central Excise and Customs Department, Havaldar and Head Havaldar (Group ’C’ posts)
Recruitment Rules, 2015, in the Schedule, against serial number 1 relating to the post of Havaldar, in
column (6), -
for the entry in Note 1, the entry “The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be as fixed by
the Staff Selection Commission” shall be substituted.
