NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd August, 2016
G.S.R. 809(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution,
the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate
Change, Scientific Group ‘A’ Posts Recruitment Rules, 2015, namely :-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Scientific Group
‘A’ Posts Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2016.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Scientific Group ‘A’ Posts Recruitment
Rules, 2015,-
(i) in rule 13, for sub-rule (4), the following shall be substituted, namely :-
“(4) The composition of the Departmental Peer Review Committee for assessment of screened-in
scientists for promotion under the Flexible Complementing Scheme from a post in the lower grade to a
post in the higher grade as specified in column (1) of the table below, shall be as specified in column (2)
thereof, namely:—
