In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Railways
This notification, G.S.R. 364(E), issued by the Ministry of Railways, Railway Board on May 14, 2019, amends the Ministry of Railways Railway Board, Editor Indian Railways Group A post Recruitment Rules, 2010. The amendment, authorized by the President under the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, substitutes the word "English" for the word "Hindi" in column 8, item i of the Schedule of the 2010 Recruitment Rules. These rules, cited as the Ministry of Railways Railway Board, Editor Indian Railways Group A post Recruitment Amendment Rules, 2019, came into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. New Delhi, the 14th May, 2019
G.S.R. 364(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the
President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), Editor (Indian Railways)
(Group ‘A’ post) Recruitment Rules, 2010, namely:-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), Editor (Indian Railways) (Group ‘A’
post) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2019.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), Editor (Indian Railways) (Group ‘A’ post) Recruitment Rules,
2010, in the Schedule, in column (8), in item (i), for the word “Hindi” the word “English” shall be substituted.
