िन(cid:7388)िलिखत िनयम बनाते ह,(cid:7289) अथा(cid:6981)त:-
1. (1) इन िनयम(cid:7298) का संि(cid:6979)(cid:7385) नाम के(cid:7008)(cid:7076)ीय उ(cid:7004)पादशु(cid:7016)क और सीमाशु(cid:7016)क िवभाग, हवलदार और (cid:7079)धान हवलदार (समूह ‘ग’ पद)
भत(cid:7278) (संशोधन) िनयम, 2017 ह ै।
(2) ये राजप(cid:7074) म(cid:7286) उनके (cid:7079)काशन क(cid:7409) तारीख को (cid:7079)वृ(cid:7004) त ह(cid:7298)गे ।
2. के(cid:7008)(cid:7076)ीय उ(cid:7004)पादशु(cid:7016)क और सीमाशु(cid:7016)क िवभाग, हवलदार और (cid:7079)धान हवलदार (समूह ‘ग’ पद) भत(cid:7278) िनयम, 2015 (इसम(cid:7286) इसके
प(cid:7019) चात उ(cid:7334) िनयम कहा गया ह)ै िनयम 3 के (cid:7021)थान पर िन(cid:7388)िलिखत िनयम रखे जाएंगे, अथा(cid:6981)त:-
“3. पद(cid:7298) क(cid:7409) सं(cid:6990)या, वग(cid:7278)करण, वेतन मै(cid:7407)(cid:7069)(cid:6989)स म(cid:7286) (cid:7021)तर:- उ(cid:7334) पद(cid:7298) क(cid:7409) सं(cid:6990)या, उनका वग(cid:7278)करण और उसके साथ संल(cid:7336) वेतन
मै(cid:7407)(cid:7069)(cid:6989)स म(cid:7286) (cid:7021)तर वे ह(cid:7298)गे, जो उ(cid:7334) अनुसूची के (cid:7021)त(cid:7013)भ (2) से (4) म(cid:7286) यथािविन(cid:7416)द(cid:7397) ह।(cid:7289)“
3. उ(cid:7334) िनयम(cid:7298) म(cid:7286), िनयम 4 म(cid:7286) परंतुक के (cid:7021)थान पर िन(cid:7388)िलिखत परंतुक रखा जाएगा, अथा(cid:6981)त:-
“परंतु यह (cid:7408)क (cid:7079)(cid:7004)येक आंचिलक काडर िनयं(cid:7074)क (cid:7079)ािधकारी का अपना (cid:7021)वयं का (cid:7079)थक काडर होगा जब तक (cid:7408)क अ(cid:7008)यथा के(cid:7008)(cid:7076)ीय
उ(cid:7004)पादशु(cid:7016)क और सीमाशु(cid:7016)क बोड(cid:6981) (cid:7367)ारा िनदि(cid:7287)शत न हो ।”
4. उ(cid:7334) िनयम(cid:7298) क(cid:7409) अनुसूची म(cid:7286), -
(क) (cid:7021)तंभ (4) म(cid:7286), हवलदार के पद से संबंिधत (cid:7059)म सं(cid:6990)या 1 के सामने, -
(i) (cid:7021)त(cid:7013)भ शीष(cid:6981)क के (cid:7021)थान पर “वेतन मै(cid:7407)(cid:7069)(cid:6989)स म(cid:7286) (cid:7021)तर” (cid:7021)त(cid:7013)भ शीष(cid:6981)क रखा जाएगा;
(ii) (cid:7079)िवि(cid:7397)य(cid:7298) के (cid:7021)थान पर “वेतन मै(cid:7407)(cid:7069)(cid:6989)स म(cid:7286) (cid:7021)तर-1 (18,000-56,900 (cid:7271).)” (cid:7079)िवि(cid:7397)यां रखी जाएंगी;

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 17th January, 2017
G.S.R. 38(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the
President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Central Excise and Customs Department, Havaldar and Head
Havaldar (Group ’C’ posts) Recruitment Rules, 2015, namely:—
1. (1) These rules shall be called the Central Excise and Customs Department, Havaldar and Head Havaldar
(Group ‘C’ posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Central Excise and Customs Department, Havaldar and Head Havaldar (Group ‘C’ posts) Recruitment
Rules, 2015 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), for rule 3, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:-
“3. Number of posts, classification and level in pay matrix. – The number of said posts, their classification and
level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the said Schedule.”.
3. In the said rules, in rule 4, for the proviso, the following proviso shall be substituted, namely:-
“Provided that each Zonal Cadre Controlling Authority shall have its own separate cadre unless other-wise
directed by the Central Board of Excise and Customs.”.
4. In the said rules, in the Schedule, -
(a) against serial number 1 relating to the post of Havaldar, in column (4),-
(i) for the column heading, the column heading “Level in pay matrix” shall be substituted;
(ii) for the entries, the entries “Level – 1 in the pay matrix (Rs.18,000-56,900)” shall be substituted;
(b) against serial number 2 relating to the post of Head Havaldar, -
(i) in column (4), for the column heading, the column heading “Level in pay matrix” shall be substituted;
(ii) in column (4), for the entries, the entries “Level–2 in the pay matrix (Rs.19,900-63,200)” shall be
substituted;
(iii) in column (11), for the entries, the entries “Havaldar in level – 1 in the pay matrix (Rs.18,000-56,900) with
three years of regular service in the grade.” shall be substituted.
