प(cid:7391)ात िजसे उ(cid:7334) िनयम कहा गया ह)ै म (cid:7286)िनयम 2 के (cid:7021)थान पर िन(cid:7388)िलिखत िनयम रखा जाएगा, अथात(cid:6981) :-

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 31st January, 2017
G.S.R. 75(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the
President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Finance, Central Excise and Customs, Department,
Draftsman (Group ‘C’ Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2013, namely:-
1. (1) These rules shall be called the Ministry of Finance, Central Excise and Customs Department, Draftsman
(Group ‘C’ Posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Ministry of Finance, Central Excise and Customs, Department, Draftsman (Group ‘C’ Posts) Recruitment
Rules, 2013 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), for rule 2, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:-
“2. Number of post, classification, level in pay matrix. – The number of said post, its classification and level in
the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these
rules.”.
3. In the said rules, in rule 3, in sub-rule (1), for the words “Each Commissionerate”, the words “Each Zonal Cadre
Controlling Authority” shall be substituted.
4. In the said rules, in the Schedule, in column (4),-
(a) for the column heading, the column heading “Level in pay matrix” shall be substituted;
(b) for the entries, the entries “Level – 4 in the pay matrix (Rs. 25,500-81,100)” shall be substituted.
