(1) These regulations may be called the Union Public Service Commission (Exemption from Consultation) Amendment Regulations, 2016. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In Schedule II of the Union Public Service Commission (Exemption from Consultation) Regulations, 1958, after item 4, the following item shall be inserted, namely :- “4A. Recruitment on deputation basis for a period of three years from the date of publication of this Notification, to the posts of Deputy Director, Group ‘A’ in pay band 3 Rs.15600-39100 plus grade pay Rs.6600 and Assistant Director, Group ‘B’ in pay band 2 Rs. 9300-34800 plus grade pay Rs.5400 in the Enforcement Directorate (ED)”.
