No. 01/83/71/18/AM 15/DES-IV.—In exercise of the powers conferred under paragraph 1.03 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020 and paragraph 1.01 of Handbook of Procedure (Vol 1.), the following amendments are made in the Handbook of Procedures Vol.II. 2. The existing entry in SION A-1875 of the Product Group ‘Chemical and Allied Products’ is amended as under:¹Hkkx Iµ[k.M 1º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3 Exports Imports SION Export Item Qty S. No. Import Item Qty allowed No. Upgraded Beneficiated Ilmenite (Synthetic Furnace Oil 1.068 kg. Rutile) containing Titanium Dioxide of 90- OR 96% concentration (Specific % 1Kg. 1 Coal 1.000 kg. A-1875 concentration to be mentioned) Ilmenite Ore containing To be 2 Titanium Dioxide of 49%- calculated as 57% concentration (Specific per the % concentration to be guidelines mentioned) mentioned in the following note 3 Coke 0.182 kg. Note: I- Specific percentage of Titanium dioxide in export product to be mentioned in export documents. II- Specific percentage of Titanium dioxide in import item 2 to be mentioned in import documentation. III- For the purpose of entitlement of imported raw material, the percentage concentration of export item as well as concentration of import item 2 should be taken. For this the entitlement should be worked out considering 13.6% wastage on the actual net content of Titanium dioxide both in the export product and import product. Eg:- If the export product contains 90% Titanium dioxide [weighted average of all shipments and import item i.e. Ilmenite ore contains 50% Titanium dioxide [weighted average of all bill of entries] , entitlement may be worked out based on following formula: Entitlement of import product per kg. of export product = = 2.045 kgs 3. Effect of this amendment: The standard Input Output Norms (SION) for export product under S. No. A 1875 has been reviewed. There is change in the description of the Export and Import items.
