Pratapgarh 230131, Uttar Pradesh is recognized by State Government of Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh Nurses & Midwives Council to conduct ANM and B.Sc(N) Course. Whereas, a notice no. 18-31/15507-INC dated 27/06/2023 for withdrawal of Recognition under section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to Principal Secretary (H&FW), Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Uttar Pradesh, 05th Floor, Vikas Bhawan, Janpath Market, Vidhan Sabha Road, Hazratganj, Lucknow – 226001 Uttar Pradesh was issued. Copy of the notice dated 27/06/2023 was also enclosed to Charu Nursing College of Education situated at Bhupiamau, Katra Road Near Power House, Pratapgarh, Distt. Pratapgarh 230131, Uttar Pradesh. In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution. Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case of Charu Nursing College of Education. Even no action, as required, has been taken by the institution. Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated 21/02/2023 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e., clinical and teaching facilities. Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3)(b) of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 declares that with effect from 22/09/2023 any person holding a recognized qualification of ANM and B.Sc(N) from Charu Nursing College of Education situated at Bhupiamau, Katra Road Near Power House, Pratapgarh, Distt.
