Whereas, a notice no. 18-05/16154-INC (57127) dated 03/05/2024 for withdrawal of Recognition under section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to the Principal Secretary (H&FW) Department of Health, Government of Bihar, Vikas Bhawan, New Secretariat, Bihar was issued. Copy of the notice dated 03/05/2024 was also enclosed ANM School Purnea situated at ANM School Purnea, Gmch Campus, Purnea, Distt. Purnea 854301 Bihar In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution. Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case of ANM School Purnea. Even the institution ANM School Purnea has not responded to the notices issued. Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. These are serious deficiencies which constitute that the institution is unable to run ANM Course. Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3) (b) declares that with effect from 26/10/2024 any person holding a recognized qualification of ANM from ANM School Purnea situated at ANM School Purnea, Gmch Campus, Purnea, Distt. Purnea 854301 Bihar shall be entitled to be registered only in the State of Bihar. Lt. Col. (Dr.) SARVJEET KAUR, Secy.
