Bangalore 560077, Karnataka is recognized by State Government of Karnataka and Karnataka Nursing Council to conduct GNM course. Whereas, a notice no. 18-15/14507-INC dated 24/05/2023 for withdrawal of Recognition under section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, Room No. 105, 01st Floor, Vikas Souda, Bangalore – 560001, Karnataka was issued. Copy of the notice dated 24/05/2023 was also enclosed to Chethana School of Nursing situated at Opp Devamatha School, II Cross, III Block, Tirumenahalli, Bangalore, Distt. Bangalore 560077, Karnataka. In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution. Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case of Chethana School of Nursing. Even the institution Chethana School of Nursing has not responded to the notices issued. Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated 21/12/2022 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e., clinical and teaching facilities. Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3)(b) declares that with effect from 04/08/2023 any person holding a recognized qualification of GNM from Chethana School of Nursing situated at Opp Devamatha School, Ii Cross, Iii Block, Tirumenahalli, Bangalore, Distt.
