Chamraja Nagara 571313 Karnataka is recognized by State Government of Karnataka and Karnataka Nurses Registration Council to conduct GNM Course. Whereas, a notice no. 18-15/2314-INC (53930) dated 26/02/2024 for withdrawal of Recognition under section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to The Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, Room No. 105, 1st Floor, Vikas Souda, Bangalore 560001 Karnataka was issued Copy of the notice dated 26/02/2024 was also enclosed to Basava Rajendra School of Nursing situated at No. 123/1a, Mysore – Chamrajanagar Main Road, Mariyala Hobli, Chamrajanagar Distt. Chamraja Nagara 571313 Karnataka In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution. Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case of Basava Rajendra School of Nursing Even the institution Basava Rajendra School of Nursing has not responded to the notices issued. Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated 31/08/2023 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e., clinical and teaching facilities. These are serious deficiencies which constitute that the institution is unable to run GNM Course. Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3) (b) declares that with effect from 21/05/2024 any person holding a recognized qualification of GNM from Basava Rajendra School of Nursing situated at No. 123/1a, Mysore – Chamrajanagar Main Road, Mariyala Hobli, Chamrajanagar Distt.
