तत्पश्चात पररषद ्न े जिघ्नेश्वर आंस्ट्टीट्यूट ऑफ नर्ससग साआंसेि कग पत्र ददनांक 31/03/2021 िारी दकया। हालांदक जिघ्न श्े ि र
आंस्ट्टीट्यटू ऑफ नर्ससग साआंसिे द्वारा अिश्यकतानुसार कगइ कारािाइ नहीं की गइ ह।ै

WITHDRAWAL ORDER
New Delhi, the 14th October, 2022
F.No. 18-15/1016-INC:— In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 14 of Indian Nursing Council
Act, 1947 (XLVIII of 1947), the Indian Nursing Council hereby issues the following order:—
Whereas, Vighneshwara Institute of Nursing Sciences situated at Vijaynagar, Hubballi, Distt. Dharwar
– 580032, Karnataka is recognized by State Government of Karnataka and Karnataka Nursing Council to conduct
GNM course.
Whereas, a notice no. 18-15/1016-INC/12353 dated 19/02/2021 for withdrawal of Recognition under section
14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department,
Room No. 105, 01st Floor, Vikas Souda, Bangalore – 560001, Karnataka was issued. Copy of the notice dated
19/02/2021 was also enclosed to Vighneshwara Institute of Nursing Sciences situated at Vijaynagar, Hubballi,
Distt. Dharwar – 580032, Karnataka. In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their
recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution.
Whereas, the Council received a letter dated 10/03/2021 from Vighneshwara Institute of Nursing Sciences.
Thereafter the Council issued letter dated 31/03/2021 to the Vighneshwara Institute of Nursing Sciences. However no
action, as required, has been taken by the Vighneshwara Institute of Nursing Sciences.
Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated
26/12/2020 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e.,
clinical and teaching facilities. These are serious deficiencies which constitute the institution is unable to run GNM
Course.
Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3)(b) declares that with effect from
25/06/2022 any person holding a recognized qualification of GNM from Vighneshwara Institute of Nursing
Sciences situated at Vijaynagar, Hubballi, Distt. Dharwar – 580032, Karnataka shall be entitled to be registered
only in the State of Karnataka subject to the orders of State government of Karnataka.
