ljdkj vkSj vkèa kz çns'k jkT; uÉlx ifj"kn ds vkns'kka s ds vè;èkhu dsoy eas iathÑr gksus dk gdnkj gkxs kA ysf¶VusVa duZy ¼MkW-½ loZthr dkjS ] lfpo [जवज्ञापन-III/4/असा./1057/2024-25] INDIAN NURSING COUNCIL WITHDRAWAL ORDER New Delhi, the 10th March, 2025 F.No. 18-535/2000-INC:—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 (XLVIII of 1947), the Indian Nursing Council hereby issues the following order:—

Whereas, Government of Andhra Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh State nursing Council had granted recognition to Vijay School of Nursing, Durgapuram, Rokallapalem, Viajyawada, Distt. Krishna - 520003 Andhra Pradesh (“College”) for running GNM course.

Whereas, in terms of Section 13 (1) of the Indian Nursing Council Act ("Act"), the Indian Nursing Council ("Council") has the power to inspect any Institution recognised as a training institution by State authorities. However, when the inspectors appointed by the Council reached the College, they were not allowed to carry out the statutory inspections.

Whereas, notice no. 18-535/2000-INC (49259) dated 11.01.2024 was issued to the College seeking their

explanation for refusal of inspection. That 15 days were given to the College to respond. However, the College has failed to send any reply/ comments to the said show cause notice. Further, in terms of the provisions of Section 14 of the Act, a notice no. 18-535/2000-INC (56281) dated 03.05.2024 was issued to the Principal Secretary, Health and family welfare department (state government of Andhra Pradesh) asking them for their remarks/ comments on the issue of refusal by the College to allow the Council to conduct statutory inspection. However, no comments were received by the Council.

Whereas, the Executive Committee of the Council had considered the aforesaid matter in its entirety. In cases of refusal of statutory inspection by any college, it shall be assumed that such institution does not follow the regulations and syllabus prescribed by the Council and is not suitable to grant training in nursing field.

Hence, therefore, the Council in exercise of its power conferred under Section 14 (3)-(b) of the Act declares that with effect from 26.10.2024, any person obtaining a qualification of GNM from Vijay school of Nursing situated at Durgapuram, Rokallapalem, Viajyawada, Distt. Krishna - 520003 Andhra Pradesh shall be entitled to be registered only in the state of Andhra Pradesh subject to any further orders of the State government of the Andhra Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh state Nursing council.
