Haridwar 247661 Uttarakhand is recognized by State Government of Uttarakhand and Uttarakhand Nurses Midwives Council to conduct Post Basic B.Sc(N) Course. Whereas, a notice no. 18-37/15491-INC (49701) dated 16/01/2024 for withdrawal of Recognition under section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to the Additional Chief secretary (Health & FW), Government of Uttarakhand, Secretariat 4 B, Subhash Road, Dehradun 248001 Uttarakhand was issued. Copy of the notice dated 16/01/2024 was also enclosed to Aarogyam Nursing College situated at Nh-73, Po Bhagwanpur, Vill.- Karondhi, Tehsil – Bhagwanpur, Distt. Haridwar 247661 Uttarakhand. In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution. Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case of Aarogyam Nursing College Even the institution Aarogyam Nursing College has not responded to the notices issued. Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated 19/07/2023 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e., clinical and teaching facilities. These are serious deficiencies which constitute that the institution is unable to run Post Basic B.Sc(N) Course. Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3) (b) declares that with effect from 21/05/2024 any person holding a recognized qualification of Post Basic B.Sc(N) from Aarogyam Nursing College situated at Nh-73, Po Bhagwanpur, Vill.- Karondhi, Tehsil – Bhagwanpur, Distt.
