Raipur – 492001, Chhattisgarh was recognized by State Government of Chhattisgarh and Chhattisgarh Nursing Council to conduct GNM & Post Basic B.Sc(N) Course. Whereas, a notice no. 18-38/7737-INC dated 22/11/2022 for withdrawal of Recognition under section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to Principal Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Chhattisgarh, R.N. S4-18, Mahanadi Bhawan Mantralaya, New Raipur – 492002, Chhattisgarh was issued. Copy of the notice dated 22/11/2022 was also enclosed Modern Medical Institute College of Nursing situated at Dhamtari Road, Lalpur, Distt. Raipur – 492001, Chhattisgarh. In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution. Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case of Modern Medical Institute College of Nursing. Even the institution Modern Medical Institute College of Nursing has not responded to the notices issued. Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated 21/01/2022 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e., clinical and teaching facilities. These are serious deficiencies which constitute that the institution is unable to run GNM & Post Basic B.Sc(N) Course. Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3)(b) of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 declares that with effect from 23/02/2023 any person holding a recognized qualification of GNM & Post Basic B.Sc(N) from Modern Medical Institute College of Nursing situated at Dhamtari Road, Lalpur, Distt.
