Whereas, a notice no. 18-36/8476-INC dated 16/09/2022 for withdrawal of Recognition under section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to Chief Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Jharkhand, Nepal House, Doranda, Ranchi – 834002, Jharkhand was issued. Copy of the notice dated 16/09/2022 was also enclosed to Kingpin College of Nursing situated at Sewa Mission Hospital, Childag Road, Gondli Pokhar, Anagara, Ranchi – 835103, Jharkhand. In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution. Whereas, the Council received a letter dated 01/10/2022 from the institution. Thereafter Indian Nursing Council issued a letter dated 09/01/2023. No action, as required, has been taken by the institution. Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated 01/04/2022 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e., clinical and teaching facilities. These are serious deficiencies which constitute the institution is unable to run B.Sc(N) Course. Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3)(b) declares that with effect from 23/02/2023 any person holding a recognized qualification of B.Sc(N) from Kingpin College of Nursing situated at Sewa Mission Hospital, Childag Road, Gondli Pokhar, Anagara, Ranchi – 835103, Jharkhand shall be entitled to be registered only in the State of Jharkhand subject the orders of State government of Jharkhand.
