Road, Dewada Chowk, Kopedih Road, Gram Dewada, Distt. Rajnandgaon 491441, Chhattisgarh was recognized by State Government of Chhattisgarh and Chhattisgarh Nursing Council to conduct Post Basic Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing Course. Whereas, a notice no. 18-38/7716-INC dated 16/09/2022 for withdrawal of Recognition under section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to Principal Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Chhattisgarh, R.N. S4-18, Mahanadi Bhawan Mantralaya, New Raipur – 492002, Chhattisgarh was issued. Copy of the notice dated 16/09/2022 was also enclosed Central India College Of Nursing situated at G.E. Road, Dewada Chowk, Kopedih Road, Gram Dewada, Distt. Rajnandgaon 491441, Chhattisgarh. In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution. Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case of Central India College of Nursing. Even the institution Central India College of Nursing has not responded to the notices issued. Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated 01/04/2022 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e., clinical and teaching facilities. These are serious deficiencies which constitute that the institution is unable to run Post Basic Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing Course. Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3)(b) of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 declares that with effect from 23/02/2023 any person holding a recognized qualification of Post Basic Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing from Central India College Of Nursing situated at G.E. Road, Dewada Chowk, Kopedih Road, Gram Dewada, Distt.
