Kheda 387001, Gujarat is recognized by State Government of Gujarat and Gujarat Nursing Council to conduct ANM Course. Whereas, a notice no. 18-11/9049-INC dated 19/10/2022 for withdrawal of Recognition under section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to the Commissioner (Health), & Ex-Officio Secretary (Public Health & Family Welfare) Block No. 05, 1st Floor Old Sachiwalay, Dr. Jivraj Bhavan, Sector No. 10, Gandhinagar – 382010, Gujarat was issued. Copy of the notice dated 19/10/2022 was also enclosed to Dinsha Patel College of Nursing situated at Opp. Mahagujarat Hospital, behind Hyundai Showroom College Road, Nadiad, Distt. Kheda 387001, Gujarat. In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution. Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case of Dinsha Patel College of Nursing. Even the institution, Dinsha Patel College of Nursing has not responded to the notices issued. Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated 26/04/2022 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e., clinical and teaching facilities. These are serious deficiencies which constitute that the institution is unable to run ANM Course. Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3) (b) declares that with effect from 23/02/2023 any person holding a recognized qualification of ANM from Dinsha Patel College of Nursing situated at Opp. Mahagujarat Hospital, behind Hyundai Showroom College Road, Nadiad, Distt.
